'Addial' Adds a Useful New Widget to Notification Center
Those looking to improve upon the existing share widget in iOS 6 should check out a new free Notification Center add-on called Addial
by iOS developer rvirajm
As shown above, the add-on adds two new buttons to Notification Center; one of the buttons is an Add Contact button, and the other button is a Dial Phone button. What's great about the add-on is that it looks almost exactly like the stock share widget that comes with iOS 6, and the icons within the buttons look great and display their purpose well. Just like the stock share widget in iOS 6, the new widget places the buttons side-by-side with the same style and all.
When the user taps on the Add Contact button, a Contact sheet appears that allows the user to enter any contact information about the contact that they’re adding. If the user taps on the Dial Phone button, the user will get a keypad and a phone number field where the user can enter a phone number to call:
Unfortunately, the dial button doesn’t allow the user to pick an existing contact to call, so the user will need to know the contact’s phone number off of the top of their head to call them.
After installing the add-on, you can enable the Notification Center widget by heading over to the Notifications preferences pane and dragging the new widget into your Notification Center. After you do this, you can head over to Notification Center and start using the widget.
If you're interested in grabbing this new Notification Center add-on, you will find it right now in the ModMyi repository of Cydia for free.
