  • 'ClockFade' Adds a Fade-in Animation to the Status Bar Clock When Unlocking the Device

Normally when you unlock your iOS device, the Status Bar clock just appears without any animation. Itís a very simple, and somewhat boring, experience.

A new free jailbreak tweak available in Cydia starting today allows users to add a fade-in animation to the Status Bar clock when unlocking the iOS device. The tweak is called ClockFade by iOS development team Hashbang Productions.

As shown above, when the device is first unlocked, there is no clock in the Status Bar. As soon as all of the application icons become aligned in the center of the display, as the device normally does when unlocking the device, the Status Bar clock fades into the Status Bar.

The new animation is very subtle, but indeed very satisfying. The animation feels so smooth and feels like it should have been there from the get-go. The tweak comes with the ability to change the animation delay and fade duration.

If you want to add this feature, you can grab ClockFade from the Cydia store right now for free.

Can u add that feature? Maybe with an option to have it everywhere or just home screen?
