Letterpress 1.4 Released With Word Remembering, Bounciness, Zombies
The popular word game Letterpress by atebits has been updated Thursday with several application improvements, which include features and fixes.
One of the major new features is the ability to remember words. By tapping and holding the clear button, you will close the game and remember the word you had selected, which means when you load up the game again, the word you selected will be loaded back up so you don’t have to remember what you played before closing the game.
In addition, the update has adjusted the overall bounciness of the game's animations, fixed wiggle squishes, tweaked the auto-matching, added a tips and tricks option, and updated the game dictionary. The change log also notes that being able to view game replays has been unlocked for iOS 5 users, as it was only for iOS 6 before.
The update also promises to fix zombie games, which judging the name, probably means that a problem with games remaining open after they’ve ended has been fixed.
If you're an existing owner of Letterpress, you'll find the update in the Updates tab from the App Store. Alternatively, you can download Letterpress for free from the App Store via this link
– a 99˘ in-app purchase will unlock more great features, such as multiple games, themes, and more.
