Earlier today Amazon released its Cloud Player app for the iPad and iPad mini, a long awaited app for Amazon users. The Amazon Cloud Player allows customers to stream their music to a Kindle Fire, Android, iPhone and now the iPad.
The brand new iPad app allows users to play, download, manage, and create playlists from music stored in their Amazon music locker. Customers can either stream music from their library on the cloud, or download it for offline playback. iPad users can now purchase songs from Amazon through the Safari Web browser much like the iPhone and iPod devices currently do.
Great news for many Amazon customers. How many of you use the Amazon Cloud Player. How is your experience with it so far?
"We introduced our Cloud Player app for iPhone and iPod touch last summer and it's been incredibly popular with our customers so we've now expanded it to iPad," Steve Boom, vice president of digital music for Amazon, said in a statement. "Our goal is to make Cloud Player the most widely compatible cloud playback solution available, giving our customers the ability to buy their music once and enjoy it everywhere."
