While Siri is sometimes a useful little voice companion on iOS devices, we cam sometimes get carried away in our conversations with her. When this happens, our notifications are suppressed until we close Siri, because iOS won’t show notifications in the Siri interface.
A new free jailbreak tweak called Unveil by iOS developer Sirifl0w fixes this. The tweak will force iOS to show notifications even when the Siri interface is open on your screen. Notification animations will occur as expected, and the animations won't interrupt your Siri experience.
One thing that we noticed is that although the notification banner appeared during the Siri conversation, the text tone did not sound. This is a nice little feature because if Siri is in the middle of speaking to you, or if you’re in the middle of speaking to Siri, you don’t want to be disturbed by noises.
Unveil is only for iOS 6 and requires a Siri-capable iOS device. The tweak doesn’t come with any options to configure.
