The Cydia package for the evasi0n iOS 6 untethered jailbreak has been updated Saturday afternoon with a fix for an issue that could cause booting problems that might occur during some reboots.
Apart from fixing a rebooting issue, the package’s title and description have also been modified to be more clear about the fact that the jailbreak package is for iOS 6.1.1 and iOS 6.1.2 now as well as that of iOS 6.0, iOS 6.0.1, iOS 6.0.1, and iOS 6.1.
The evasi0n jailbreak tool received support just this week in version 1.4 for the new iOS 6.1.2 firmware, which fixed a battery bug with Microsoft Exchange. Unlike iOS 6.1.1, which was only for the iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.2 is a universal firmware for all iOS devices that can run iOS 6.
The update for the evasi0n iOS 6 untether package can be found, downloaded, and installed via the Changes tab in Cydia. You may need to refresh your sources for the update to appear. Installing the update will not require a respring or a reboot.
